The Charlatans

Formed in 1989 in Northwich (Cheshire), this year sees The Charlatans celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album Some Friendly which charted at number one and spawned the cult classics 'The Only One I Know', 'Sprotson Green' and 'Then'. Hot off the back of this success, they were catapulted to the forefront of the Madchester scene and secured their iconic status in British music. With a critically acclaimed career spanning two decades, their story is one of great success with ten albums under their belts and a legion of fans. The Charlatans' 11th studio album 'Who We Touch' will be released on 6th September 2010, with the first single 'Love Is Ending' released 2nd August 2010.
